The music of Robert Storms
Mr. Storms composed his first music in 1956 as a senior at Bremerton High School. Since that time, he has composed and arranged numerous pieces for elementary, middle, junior high and high school, college bands, marching bands, choirs and orchestras, as well as for his church choirs. 
One of the most satisfying awards came when the Vista band won 3rd place and $500 in a national contest in the 1970s. "It was a total group effort," he said. "The kids played it,
I wrote it, and my minister recorded it." Mr. Storms two professional bands, Variety and Bathtub Gin Party Band, include performances in Japan and at EXPO 86, and an appearance on the television show, Northern Exposure. Robert has 14 Grand-Children and one Great-Grandchild (pending).
